Evan Abandoned

I Love You, New York, Because

it's you I stick up raygunned, though you never duck. Bowie sang it's all young dudes who strut up truffles of flippant agony. All pocket mouthed, we money on or find a hoodied quick who does. Greased in tattooed hoorahs, we ride nicked cig silvers. Aflame in lag, watch em dragged flippety floppety dunce hatted. Some boys kissy kiss ok on credit but know nothing, really, about poetry. And sometimes there's snagged a brave pale to dollop in paired ribcage buzz. But not max. A chilly tremble milkshakes v-necked. Is it concrete, apple core, concrete all around? Or lisp gin my head? Brother New York, wake up David Bowie, bring him back to us, the dudes. Emblem battled is mine spuming eyes a-teary. Slack a rack to us glittered in poorer quarters, we want some, we want some. Hipsters on fire make me smile. New York, your sun is out, Statue-of-Liberty-poked.
