Last Lines

I still see the light
alluding to the last downpour

Waking up in the middle of
outrageous riots

Dramatics are short on lightening
and the clouds are suffering in many ways

It is all in the end
when a silver lining
wreaks havoc on the tearful.

~

Hope of Indifference

It is bizarre to see necks buried
in the hope of an eclipse

Denying to cure the spiritual sufferers
Desperation dominates their lives

Anxious for anything

Ignoring the adopted care
Unaffordable is the need to be alone

There is no reason for the mystery
but the absurd lies that are spent by the many.

Sarah Ahmad lives in Pakistan. She sees herself as a struggling poet as in her world where life is so fragile, not knowing if you will return alive every time you step out of the house, getting someone to acknowledge your art is a real struggle. She hopes to do some good in the world, just don't know what yet.
