Friedrich Kerksieck and Aaron James McNally

Snakebite #7

There are ten wolves
in that python.

Tongue-Twister

If you repeat "I am a merkin"
it sounds like "I am American."

*

"What an insincere premonition,"
the ghost goads you. He has
a necktie but no neck. "Indecent
living" was by motto when I was
a young sheet, barely even yet
dead," the ghost shakes his
head & the petite chandelier shakes
with him. The ghost needs
to ask you a favor, to borrow
your car & water the plants
while away on business vacations.
He swallows a spill of water
& slinks back into your favorite
sweater.

The Prestige Opiates

in the sequence of
      innocent love
The milk-man paperboy
      sleeps w/ the wives
of the patrons just
      mentioned above
